(I realize that this is probably in the wrong section)

I was wondering if someone could answer a question I had about claiming an inactive SC Username. I want a name to use as a personal (don't worry I'm not trying to take all the names on the site lol) and it says that when you submit one of the inactive name requests the current owner will have 48 hours to respond of the name can be be taken.

I've been waiting 5 days on an account that appears inactive af and still I've gotten no e-mail from SC or anything. That in mind is there anyone on FK that has gotten an inactive name? If so how long did it take and what was the process you went through? Thanks!

I've gotten a few in the past, it doesn't take too long usually - around a 2 day wait per username, but I've been waiting on one for 5 days now so idk what the problem is. Maybe somethings wrong over at SC?

@Gen Yeah I've been waiting like 5 days and this being my first time doing it I have no clue what the problem is.

@Gen do they contact you by email first if a change is available? Or do you just sign in and the change takes place if it's available?

They don't contact the owner.
They simply change it if the og owner has not logged in for 6+ months.
So the account probably has logged in.

@Gen any news on the SC you've been waiting 5 days for?

After you submit the form, it says it has emailed the owner as well.
