For this example i'm using a MacBook Pro. Applicable with any laptop.

Things you'll need.
1. Hair Dryer
2. Paper towels
3. Water source

Step 1.
- Clean down your laptop with a wet piece of paper towel, This is very important if you have spilt something sticky like soda or a energy drink.

Step 2.
- Dry down your laptop with a dry cloth if needed.

Step 3.
- Grab your Hair dryer and put it on hot. Point it to every opening. For example, the gap in between the screen and the actual computer, the usb, power, etc. inputs, cd drive, etc.

Step 4.
- Turn your computer on. If it doesn't worky try having your power cable in.

If its a ipod, phone camera etc, all you need to do is put it in a bowl of rice, completely cover the item in rice all around. the rice draws moisture out and it does work ive done it to my razr max, sony cybershot, and the ipod.

This also works if you spill liquid on a HP Pavilion laptop. I spilled apple cider on my laptop last fall and I did this to get the apple cider out.

Why not keep drinks well away from them?

It's just too bad that if your laptop won't start you won't have a way of viewing this thread...
