With the ending of Tokyo Ghoul √, which took a different, yet alike turn compared to the manga, what are your opinions on it? How did you like the second season of the series, and are you looking forward to the third season of the anime? (The one that will probably have the same story as the manga yet again, taking place several years after the "death" of Ken Kaneki at the hands of the CCG.) Now, there are a lot of people who claims there won't be a third season, but I can pretty much tell you why there is going to be. First of all, the manga has an arc that the anime lacks at the moment. (The time-skip of about 3 years.) The other thing is that the second part of the manga that takes place after the time-skip is called Tokyo Ghoul RE: and if you see the ending of the final episode as Touka opens up a cafe (which he has done after the time-skip in the manga) then you can see that it says RE: which is probably a hint. Anyways, what do you think of the second season?

I personally disliked how the show went from the Episode where Kaneki rejoins Anteiku onwards.
Aogiri Tree were much cooler and had much better jobs to be doing such as raiding SWAT vans and invading the CCG facility, not making cups of coffee.
In terms of the final episode I can't really say much about it other than it was upsetting to see that happen to Hide as he was Kaneki's best friend. Hopefully there will be a third Season to clear things up.

Aogiri had alot more going on? Originally, Ken had (in the manga) a lot more to do than the Aogiri. (Seeing how he formed his own group in the manga). Anteiku was a formation of some of the strongest ghouls ever, vowed to live peacefully with humans. If look at most of them, then you'll see that they are far stronger than the Aogiri's main branch. (Yoshimura only being beaten by his daughter and his successor.) As for what they did, well I can say as much as what happened in the manga was far better.
