Those are stickied because they are nice thread or helpful, and I wanted them stickied. Therefore no they don't have to pay but threads, that members, or you or w.e. want stickied just to advertise or w.e. will have to pay 10 bucks.

Stickies last a month for only 10 dollars at the time being.
 
I think this is a good idea but I don't think the price is a good idea a little but to much :)

Really I was thinking it was a bit cheap considering its up for a full month rather than only a week. That less than 33 cents a day to have a sticky up. Idk I think its pretty reasonable.
 
10 dollars for a month is cheap. You should be lucky!

I like it for sure. I never thought about making a thread. I don't think many people seen it in the help docs. :)
