Ok, this has really been bugging me lately and I gotta get this off my chest. I keep seeing these posts by new members who may or may not be scammers and "established" (I use that term very lightly for some of you skids) members are quick to say things like "dude, you're a scammer, DWC" or "scemmer n multi. ban pl0x!".

To those people...

Shut the FUCK up.

I won't even deal with anyone on here because literally EVERYBODY on here either communicates with, associates with or tells tags to scammers/turboers.

Know that every intelligent member on this website disregards your rep, your post counts and your integrity when you associate with people like this. Do you get mad/angry when the new guy won't tell you his tag or agree to go first with you, despite your high rep/post count? It's probably because you associate with scamming losers and certain people (myself included) make it a point to tell the user to deal with caution with you because of that.

What you do off-site is your business, but when you parasites start targeting the members of FK, you've crossed the line. Not only should you be IP banned, anyone caught associating with you and especially claiming to be your "friend", should be punished, as well.

I'm personally not angry. I haven't been scammed, nor will I be. I'm just posting my dislike for these hypocrites who post "scammer/multi" and then immediately go on AIM chat and talk with other scamming faegs. Don't make those posts and then go and immediately message Bryan, Meo, Dura or any of their associates. Are you really that fucking retarded? Were you dropped on your head as a baby?

Also, I didn't say their associates should be banned, I said punished. At least discouraged from associating with them involving matters of the site. That might seem a bit dictator-like, but if it restores the integrity of the marketplace, then Father Philly would have my support.

I agree it's extremely hypocritical, but to punish a person just because they're associated with a scammer isn't fair to the member. I've played Xbox with FK members before who I later found out scam quite often. All I'm saying is people should be judged for their own actions and not for the actions of people they may hang out with.

I think there shouldn't be anything about "dealing with caution" or scam accusations posted in sales threads. It's the responsibility of the buyer to research a member's past history before dealing. That's why we have scam reports.

When you go and tell the aforementioned people you named any items being sold on FK, KNOWING they're banned for reasons involving the theft, deception and hijacking of similar items, it's like saying "fuck FK" to me. It's why a couple of my good friends have left this site, far more legit/trusted else that remains. That's why my own experience has been tainted. Why should I have to fear for my own security on a site that I used to use freely, deal with randoms on the daily and never got scammed once? Fuck that. Without mentioning names, we have people you mentioned extorting one of the very best people on FK, PERIOD. One may or may not have 'tried' something with me recently. One of them dox'ed another of my friends. The other one is a running JOKE among SM community. So, to answer your question, you're in 'no' position to question anyone's friends or morality, especially since you chose to call those particular people your 'friends'.

I won't however comment on your post count, rep or kudos. If you want to look at what people consider to be a truly legit member's profile, scroll up in this thread and check out @Reptar - Not knocking you, at all, just saying, 'none' of those things reflects HQ on FK anymore. And I only stated that because you were trying to imply that I was targeting people like you because of you ego status. So don't imply I started anything, please.

You basically want to punish 50% of ForumKorner's members for such associations; 90% of that proportion being members that have made the largest impact in this community.

(The above pecentages are obviously estimates.)

I'm a 2013 user, so I have no room to talk about veteran users, but I'm sure a high percentage of them can and will agree with this.

Who you befriend outside FK doesn't mean shit. I like several people banned for scamming, and here I am, just shy of 2 years here, no scams. Hm..

I'll just respond on the first part, as I didn't want to argue either. Those numbers are highly....wrong. I can name 40-50 legit users if I dug, as opposed to 5-10 bad eggs. I love FK. I quit H F to quietly help support this site. You can justify it, twist it, however you want, but word of mouth is a hell of a thing. The 'only' way to get rid of these losers is by stopping their access to all things FK. I know that's nearly impossible, I'm just saying that in an ideal situation, that's what would have to be done. And I wasn't targeting you, bro. I was simply going from my own experiences of scammers finding out my shit from word of mouth of other members. It's happened to me twice now. I have no sympathy for these people. Be in the great German virgin or the faeggot cunt that's trying to extort my friend. The irony of it all is that even though it's such a miniscule percentage of FK's population, not one fucking day goes by where I don't hear about these clowns. To each their own, though. Maybe if the GF thing happens, Philly will find a way to tighten the reins on this shit.

That is absolutely ridiculous to imply that there would be 0 members. There might actually be more good active members registering if they weren't so scared of seeing all these scamming-related threads. I'd rather have half the active users we have now that are all good-willed than even tolerating a single scammer. And I won't talk harshly against Mike, even though I've had 2 close calls with him personally. Dura is laughable. Bryan is a piece of shit.

No, that's a ridiculous assumption. However, if you 'do' communicate with scammers and you 'don't' discourage what they do to them, if you communicate with them after/while they're scamming, you're an accessory and you should be treated as such. If you avoid that entirely, great. I'm proud of you.

I did not discourage them from doing it because I did not know they were doing it until later on. When they had already scammed like $1k off of kids on youtube. That's the thing I'm not friends with them. I quit being friends with them when I was told by one of the people they scammed what they had done. But still they scammed while I was friends with them.

I know some of the people being mentioned on this entire thread, Just because they are banned on fk doesnt mean that they are scammers and or douche bags. People should not be punished for associating with them people. Being banned on a website doesn't call for them being disowned. As long as the community and it's members are your first priority over scammers if/when you know what they're doing, I can't say anything. I personally do talk 1 one person I've had troubles with and he's an okay person, but I will still go out of my way to warn anyone I know who is doing business to deal with caution. I think we all have an inherent responsibility to protect, if nothing else, the honest members of this site. Fuck me if that makes me a bad guy.
