What do you think about it? Do you approve it or not? Let's say, 17 yr old girl (student) and a 22 yr old man (teacher), and of course the student is enrolled in the teacher's subject. I sometimes want to experience this kind of relationship.

I think its only ok after the student passes the class and doesn't have them as an instructor anymore. Otherwise, they will play favorites and may not get the grade they deserve.

Well i think that it is not bad having relationship of that type with your teacher. But it will be a bit awkward that the person who is teaching you in the class about a subject with all other students. Then that teacher should not give special attention to the person whom which he/she is in relationship, which is really difficult. But it could bring a lot of problems for both of them like even the student carries a good grade in that subject, then all the people will say that he has secured this grade because of his teacher whom he/she is in relationship. So it will be fine after passing out from that college

I think it's normal and human. However, the teacher should not play favorite and should be objective. He should treat the student that he/she loves equally with the other students. That's the hardest part of the relationship.

Yes that would be the hardest part for them to treat that inrelation student to treat equally with other students. And i think 99.99% of that people would not be able to do that. They will somehow at sometime will give more importance to that student of theirs which they are in relation

I think this kind of relationship is prohibited..once a teacher enters an institution, they have this code of ethics which prohibits them from having a relationship with their student.however, if the teacher resigned to that institution or the student transferred to another school, then it is prohibited.

Well i haven't seen institutions that prohibits such kind of relationship with the teacher
It should not be prohibited but i think that it should not be done if they both are in the same institution, but it should not completetely prohibited but should be avoided

as a person it's normal to fall in love, but for a teacher to fall with his student, this might be immoral, being a teacher means a lot of responsibilities, and at all times must have a decency and discipline and knows what is right or wrong, and must set a good example to his/her student so that the student have someone to idolized or inspired them to learned much better

you are right. it will be better if the student is not enrolled in the teacher's class.

Though this seems to be quite natural, I don't think this is good. When the teacher has a relationship with the student, then he may have a special attention towards that student alone which is not good. Also, this can just misguide other students too.

Well those are all benefits of having teacher for a boyfriend or girlfriend.

I don't mind other peoples having these kind of relationships because its not forbidden to fall in love with anyone.

Yeah, 17 and 22 year old, 5 years apart, normal enough, but, if it was for e.g. , 17 and 60 year old, I wouldn't think of that as normal. I think I can accept relationships that are 10 years apart, but that's the limit for me. Anything above that, I don't consider normal, but then again that's just my opinion.

Love is blind and it never looks at the age or the social relationship between the individuasl. But it would be good if everything is an acceptable one.

I think it's OK so long as the student has passed the subject, or else the teacher may take favouritism of the pupil.

It won't be that bad. It will only turn out that way though for following reasons :

- Special grants if the student is in the teacher's class
- School administration finds out (as far as I'm concerned having a relationship like this is strictly prohibited)
- Parents find out (self explanatory)
- They're a couple for benefits (grades for the student, and I must say, there are guys who like girls extremely younger)
