[Suggestion] Accept/Decline Awards & Groups

I'm suggesting to allow users to decline, or accept, awards and groups. I know there are some users who keep getting granted awards they don't want, or being added to groups they don't want. I think users should be allowed to confirm to recieve an award or to be in a group.

I'd love to be able to show/hide awards, but not lose them.

your suggestion is good too, i say yes.

Groups:
Is it really hard to do this

UserCP < Group Membership < Leave Groups.

Awards:
Just contact staff, they could do the job to remove any awards you want (a few exceptions).

He's meaning an extra feature to addition to the setup of the groups via usercp, I'm pretty sure everyone knows how to leave a group and pm a staff member about removing an award..

"allow users to decline, or accept, awards and groups." (When they didn't ask to join).

I am confused what you are trying to tell me.

It's okay if you don't know what I'm talking about. It just means this doesn't happen to you.

He's saying when a user gets added to the group the user should be notified exactly like a leader does, and the user gets a choice whether to accept or decline being added to the group, how exactly do you not understand what i'm saying?

To be honest staff are quite slow. For example, @hope said that he would remove my warning level today... he still hasn't.

Understand; staff are completely busy 24/7, they have reported posts and stupid fake scam reports to deal with, I know this from me running my own forum.

He got offline after I messaged him today requesting him to remove it like he said he would. He didn't respond.

Agreed, this would be a great addition to the new suggestions being added.

They're not all necessarily slow. The world doesn't revolve around you, bud. Staff has many users' requests, reports, as well as other forum team responsibilities that must be tended to.

And if @Hope said he will remove the warning, he will. Patience is a virtue.

Yes, I know this. I just would have appreciated it if he responded to me.

I doubt people will just randomly give you an award or place you in a group I've never seen that happen. I suppose someone would be happy if they got a random award. I say no to this suggestion. If it does happen it's a rare and if it happened to you you're probably the 1st.

Well said man these kids need to relize that!

Also why were you issued a warning @orc I have 3 character evades and I don't complain or ask for them off, I only asked Micheal to not get me banned for 100% it's only warnings just follow the EASY RULES!

It was for spamming. The only thread I posted that came anywhere close to spam was this one: http://www.forumkorner.com/thread-186366.html?highlight=1+koin As you can see on post #7 @LSX said the we can post however much we want to. So how am I breaking any rules?

I don't think this happens to very many people, so I don't really see it a necessity. However, it would be nice to have this implemented. I would much rather have the feeling of being invited to a group rather than just placed in one. It gives the recipient a feeling of independence and control.

On another note, I think that awards should be removable by users themselves. I also think that we should have an awards showcase to replace the current one that we see on our posts. This is where we may show off only our best and in the order that we want. Both of these solutions could free up the time of staff having to rearrange and remove people's awards all the time.
