Suggestion for "Offsite deals" and "Selling turbo'd tags"

Ok so i'm about to go on a long rant and go off on some stuff I've been sitting on for a while. First of all, the rules to this site pertaining to "dealing" have quite a few loopholes that i'm sick off.

To start, and what this thread is mostly about is "Offsite dealing". If you can use your brain that was given to you the loophole should be easy to find. If i wanted due to how the rule is worded it would be fine for me to go on a scamming spree offsite (In aim chats, on Xbox (Scamming other members on Xbox of course), or on any social medium site etc) with no consequence because it was a off site deal (It's considered offsite unless you PM through this site). I mean of course you would get a fat repfuck (Getting all your rep removed and neg'd (Look at all these lovely parenthesis)) but if you ask me that's a lot better than getting banned.
(Edit: I am writing this near the end of finishing my thread, let me reword this a tad bit. If a item is being sold on FK and gets scammed for offsite, the person who scammed for it offsite should still be scammed because they came here and saw the item so it kinda is onsite)

Secondly, the rule on selling turboing tags needs to be changed. Say i had the tag God and i swapped it and it got turbo'd, then another member bought the turbo'd tag and tried selling it on here it should be against the rules right? Well it is but it's not; The rule says turbo'd tags can't be sold here, but the rule is often overlooked because a "legit" member buys it from the turbo'er and tries selling it. I propose that if a tag ever gets turbo'd from a member here who was registered at the time of it being turbo'd should not be able to be sold. Or even possibly if a tag gets turbo'd and it comes into a members hands that is legit, enforce a 3 month grace period for example before you can sell it. So if i bought a sick tag that got turbo'd i wouldn't be able to resell it till the 17th of December of this year. Get what i mean?

TLR If something that is being currently sold on FK gets scammed for offsite, the scammer should still be banned because they found the item through this site. Get rid of the "If it's offsite" rule, it's just a stupid way for scammers to get around getting banned. Scammers belong on HF, and idiots belong on Scythe and we don't need them here.

For the second rule a turbo'd tag should NOT EVER be able to be sold on here, or give the turbo'd tag a grace period before it can be re sold. If a tag gets turbo'd today, it should never be able to be resold or the owner should have to wait say 3 months to be able to sell it. So they would have to wait till Dec. 17th 2013 to re sell that turbo'd tag. (Edit: Obviously the final grace period won't be 3 months, but it will be something if their is a grace period)

I agree with your first post but if you bought a turboed tag and wanted to sell it well it was the other persons fault for being stupid and swapping it

I just think it's a stupid rule tbh, imagine if one of your tags got turbo'd and it was a gorgeous tag and you waited months to swap it onto a high tenure account and it get's turbo'd and now someone is selling your beauty. It's like watching your tag walk off into the sunset. I'd be furious.

I never buy expensive tags but i get where your getting at

The rule about the scamming when well there is that loop hole but at the same time its still techincally onsite because #1 You Knew they were selling the tag, #2 You are both members on here so you know each others aims and everyone knows that/ tag, and know each others FK.

Turboing if you buy a tag that was turbo'd and try to resell it your a dumbass thats how tags get aids. I can understand if you bought it for cheap and want to make $150+ but if you bought it UNDER a week and are selling it you shouldn't be aloud to.

I've been thinking of making a thread regarding the "off site" bullshit myself. I'm glad you did, because now I don't have to. Haha
I agree with you on this, I also have a few ideas I'd like to add though, if you don't mind. I personally think a member scamming another member period should be banned. I see the reason for being banned being that you can't be trusted, just because you don't PM on the site shouldn't mean you're allowed to stay. There have been people who clearly intentionally scam other members know who they are over aim, etc. then use the "off site" excuse. Even if it's an accident and they don't know they're a member, they should still be banned. The way I see it is; if you don want to be banned, dot scam in the first place. :/

I like both of these, but if this was brought up because of my issue, please refrain from making thngs worse for me, I did not scam, Plasma did. If not the case, then great post and I agree.

Honestly I have sent him multiple msgs saying remove that, if you know him,you know he'll never get rid of those tags, Tig3r, Transform, Jedi, Brian, and anyone who knows him will vouch. Anything else? Idk why he's is trying tomake it seem as if I own that account.

I'm bumping this up. I'd love to see this "off-site" bullshit stop.

I'm with Dunk on this, all tags have been turbo'd before and if we stop selling tags that have been turbo'd months/years ago we'll have no tags on the market, all we'll have to sell is social mediums, if the 2nd rule is implemented we might as well just delete the gamertags section.

You cant stop sales its logic people buy what they want.
