[Suggestion] Official FK App.

Forum Korner is obviously a GREAT site, and seems to be at its prime right now.

I believe now would be a good time to think about possibly developing an official Forum Korner app.
Now, I know FK already has a mobile site and has Tapatalk capability, but I think making an official app has many good things about it.

As many of you may know, Forum Korner is compatible already through an app called Tapatalk (although it has not been connecting recently due to the current DDoS protection run on Fk). With Tapatalk you can use many of the sites functions but the layout is somewhat strange and there are many features on the site that do not work with the app because Tapatalk has not made options for these features. With an official FK app we could ask the developer that we choose to include these functions and create a sleeker, more easy to use layout.

I believe that if an Official FK app is put into development we could incorporate the wonderful FK community into the process so that we could come up with the most user friendly app we can. For example, we could maybe hold contests for app layout designs in which the fantastic graphics designers of Fk will create and submit possible designs that they have in a thread and the Fk users will vote for the best one. We could also make an "App Questions and Suggestions" section of the forum for all of the, well... Questions and suggestions for the development of the app.

With all of this being said, it is important to remember that developing an app is not free. I believe that of we promote the idea of an Official FK app that we can get enough people involved and start a kickstarter, or something along the lines of that where FK members could fund the process.

In my opinion I believe that it is a great idea, but I want to know what you guys (and girls) think. Please leave your thoughts below on this idea.

This sounds like a good idea. This site is really great and needs a app.

1. This site works fine on Mobile, no need for an app.

2. Developing a mobile app just for the site doesnt make sense, the money alone that would go into finding someone to MAKE the app would most likely be far greater than the return.

I'd rather not. I prefer to the mobile theme to any app. I'd rather not have to switch between apps just to access FK. On top of this, it wouldn't be cheap, it'd be much more sensible to keep the current theme, minus the white, or continue in the creation of a new theme.

I never have a problem with using FK on my phone.
Can't we just all suck it up?
I'm not against the idea of introducing a phone application though. I just don't see a need for it. Forums quadruple this forum don't have a phone application.

This will never happen and really shouldn't happen

This would be great because I am always on the go and I love FK.
I always just use the full version on mobile because the mobile version imo is not the best.
Accept this idea please @Philly!
