Suggestion relating to giveaways

Am I the only one who thinks you should not be allowed to sell something you won in a giveaway.

Its completely pathetic, and i see it multiple times a day, a person was kind enough to give you something and you decide to just sell it?

I mean, it's a frowned upon thing for sure, but they did win it and they technically have "ownership" of that item. It's their right to sell it and whatnot. I personally don't support people selling something they won in a giveaway though.

Yeah I don't like it one bit, most of the time the item is worth shit so that's why it's given away, not sure why people would steep so low for a couple dollars

People are greedy pricks. Can't do much about it.

I do giveaways all the time and I don't mind this because I wouldn't give it away if I wanted it or it would sell. Plus, I started off on HF and FK by winning giveaways and selling them to offsite kids to make money to buy real stuff. If I see them selling it later then I ask them to give me half the money if they sell it lol.

but yeah i would prefer people who won my giveaways keep it too.

another suggestion to Giveaways, make it a Members-Only section, it's sucks if someones wants it then it just gets sniped by a guest.

Once you give it away its theirs, they can do whatever they please with it. Just how it is dude.

@Alaska - There is a private giveaway section already for upgraded users.

Ot: I think that if you win it, you could do as you please. It won't make sense if you own something and are not able to do whatever you want with it. If its yours, its yours. If you're going to get mad because someone sells something that you gave away then don't give it away in the first place, easy as that.

Personally I could care less if someone sold something from a giveaway of mines, usually the things I give away don't hold much value and it's not worth my time to try and find a buyer, and if they want to then by all means they can

This will never happen, the giveaways section brings the majority of guests to the site which also makes the forum grow a little more everyday.

Other than this^: I do believe this would be a great rule but most users only join in on giveaways for the free shit to sell off.

This. And re-giving something defeats the whole purpose of entering and winning a giveaway, so it makes you look pathetic.
