[Suggestion] Religion: Asking for Hatred?

I was recently browsing through a thread about religion and I came across a post which basically was the person saying that what the Jews went through the Holocaust was "FTW" (For the Win).

And it hurt me a lot, it immediately made me lose credibility in that persons eyes. Additionally, it hurt to see that someone had the Gall and Audacity to say something so horrible.

My suggestion is to have a rule against hatred and the bashing or promoting of hating on another religion, such as bad mouthing it or acting against it.

The point of RuneGear is to talk and discuss Runescape as a community which we can all love.

I think we should also have a tab in the "Report" section of a post where we can report all posts that show hatred as much as this.

Thank You, and please share your thoughts.
Additionally, I would appreciate it if only HQ posts were made.

#2 The Holocaust topic your discussing is in the wrong section and it is that person's opinion on how he feels, everyone feels differently about it. Whether you like it or not.

1. I do click the Runescape tab regularly and post HQ posts and threads, and I assist people regularly.

2. There is a difference between stating your opinion and stating your hateful, lack of respect, careless, opinion.

I have no problem with people saying something about the Holocaust in a respectful manner. However, if people are going to do it than they should not say "Gas Chambers FTW". It is kind of shocking how you wouldnt agree with me on this point, it is quite disturbing to see that some people do not have basic respect for human life.

His feelings can be portrayed as, "I understand the Jewish people for having lost 6 million members of their religion, however, I still dont like them"
Rather than "Gas Chambers FTW" There is an obvious difference, and I think you can point it out.

3. There is a report button, yes, I never said there wasnt one, I simply said I wanted to add another option (tab) with the selection of "Hate/Racism" or something along those lines.

I hope THAT cleared everything up.

You're on a "Runescape" forum. This game is aimed for a younger generation of kids/people, expect to see retards posting.

If they are still in grade school how can you expect them to respect something as horrific/traumatic as the Holocaust?

The best advice I can give you is to not worry about it. If some "child" (keyword here) is making derogatory remarks, just move on. It is somebody you will more then likely never meet in your life, so don't let it bother you.

I'm not sure if it's what you're asking for, but I'd support an "Overly racist comment" report option. Although I do recognize idiots will post LQ stuff like that on this forum.
