The bid on the group is $150 by a random. Also it was from a banned member so it's premade.
He added a buy it now of $125. Premade or not, a usergroup is a usergroup, and having been owned by a member that is now banned should not decrease its price.
Usergroup prices fluctuate so much simply because too many users bite the bullet and buy a usergroup and a week later something comes up in which they need money for. When you're in need of cash, you're willing to let things go for less than what you paid for it. While an abundance of usergroups plays a role in these minimal prices, they are mostly caused by unstable usergroup owners. The only way to prevent unstable usergroup owners would be to set a maximum on the amount of ownership transfers annually (e.g. two per year or one every six months).
I wonder how many users would be discouraged to buy a usergroup if this were to be implemented.
