(Suggestion) Thanks Button.

I think there should be a "Thanks" button added one reason being it would cut down drastically on the LQ posts that are usually made just to say thanks, because people get mad when they post say a tutorial, and there's 200 views, and only 4 people replied. Where a thanks system, those who actually viewed it, and like it could say so with a nice "thanks" Its like giving rep to them but not its just giving a little gesture from all members. Whats your opinion?

i agree, this will help cut down on LQ posts like OP Said, i also think this would be a nice addition since removing vouches.

Wrong section, but I don't think there would be any downsides except for members just thanking every post they see.

Another case could be that someone who puts unpopular remark gets thanks thus starting a trend.

I would love to see this added, but a lot of people have posted this and there is never a decision.

Then again, any post = money. So I'm sure that's why it was never implemented.

It's not like it's needed but it's not a bad idea. The only problem with it is the LQ members who would spam every post liking it making the site look more LQ.

It was in what I said earlier. Members just going around thanking everybody's posts and eventually we all start thanking ones that are unpopular.

Thats why you add the timing... people arent gonna sit there and wait for the timer just to spam a thank. and besides I mean we can make it only to the thread right

People could just give rep or say thank you

Makes sense, I just didn't see that what you mean't before.

Having them on replies and threads is what I'd support if there were the proper restrictions put in place.
