Now, everyone knows on ForumKorner or any forum for that matter that users are consistently and constantly getting banned. Whether it be multi-accounters, spammers, scammers, rule breakers or whatever, it always happens. Has anyone ever seen a thread being spammed, flamed or flooded with off-topic posts and the OP is a banned member? I have, all the time.

I suggest the closure of such threads depending on the topic and what is involved with the original post itself and the user. Sales threads are a given with members getting banned and others posting within such thread either asking questions about what's for sale or bidding on items that a banned user owns.

Guess my point for suggesting this is just for convenience, lemme know what you think, post below.

I agree with this, it annoys me when I see a thread but then the OP is banned so there's no point for discussion.

There's no need for this unless the replies on the thread require the attention of the banned OP (eg. a sales or appraisal thread). Locking or junking such threads would tidy the forum, though I have concerns for how tedious this task would be to maintain. I feel that the effort to uphold such a job would outweigh the benefits.

In any other case, I say let the discussion flow freely. So what if the OP is banned? The absence of the person who started the conversation shouldn't condemn further discussion on the respective topic. This is a forum after all.

Just my two cents.

you could just report the post so the moderators can see it though.

Well what if it was a good thread like one of those forum game threads?
Even if they are banned, they still could have a high quality thread.
If there was some plugin that could close all Sales threads then that might be good.

I agree with @Jason . There's just no need. It's almost a necessity to be able to continue a thread without a banned member.
