I believe we should remove the @ symbol when we "tag" someone in our post.

Make it just so when we type @Philly it only shows "Philly" not "@philly".

I think it's fine @Vade its simple enough. Doesn't really add too much trouble. What happens when you're talking about someone and you don't want them to know about it?

We still have to type "@namehere" but when the post is posted I want the "@" removed.

I know what you're trying to say. I've coded myBB Plugins before. Just saying the parsing and removing of the "@" symbol in the thread seem unnecessary.
