I think rather than a 1,000,000 hour limit on making new accounts, you should only be able to make 1 account per IP, then it's locked, since people seem to bypass this. I'd also suggest to start banning Proxies, this could cut down on ban evaders and scammers. Just a suggestion.

I already have that implemented. I have it to where you cannot create more than one account on he same ip address, along with not being able to create an account for a million hours.

Also, I used to not allowed proxies, and lost quite a bit of members. I really like the idea but I don't want to lose members just because they would like to use a proxy. As not all proxy users are evaders, and scammers.

Why would someone use a proxy then? I dont see why someone would use a proxy on this site if they had no reason too.

I have no idea, as I don't use proxies. I do know that when I use a plugin that does not allow proxies it doesn't allow vpns either.

I can understand a VPN from DDosing, but the only possible Proxy I can think of is I believe when you use a mobile device, like an iPod, it signs you in as a Proxy.

Well that means alot of people won't be able to come here. As about 3/8's of FK users come here daily on mobile devices, or tablets.

Yeah, I come here on my Droid sometimes which uses a proxy.

Yeah I checked I thin it was literally yesterday, and seen quite a few members come here on mobile devices, and tablets. I was pretty surprised tbh How does the site look on one? I don't have one so I never have checked.

It looks just like normal, pretty much. I come here on my iPod every now and then.
