Do you guys all have suicidal friends? Do you know people who have committed?

I feel like so many people do, and if I have any say, (completely uneducated) but I would say it's becoming less and less unusual.

Do you think this is because of technology?

Personally, I think it's due to the rising standards of society, I don't really blame technology, as much as I blame society as a whole.

I blame the people in life who make life not living. I would to a certain degree blame technology, on certain occasions.

If you truly feel that way, the best way to fix this is to get involved in something, or "reinvent" yourself, start over, personally, I feel getting involved in sports is an easy way to do this, take something up like baseball, it's not hard to learn and it's pretty fun to play, even when not on a school team or w/e.

My cousin Quincee committed suicide back in 2010. I was only in 7th grade at the time. It's had a huge affect on my life and the way I am today. Without her, I wouldn't have found my favorite music, metal. Sometimes I still miss her, other times I feel nothing. I was depressed all through the rest of middle school and diagnosed as bipolar. And yes, I blame technology for her death. She was cyberbullied non-stop for almost a year after her ex-boyfriend commited suicide. People blamed it on her. Now her boyfriends family and my family are very close and my aunt has become a advocate for suicide prevention and speaks at schools.
