Surf The Internet Without Any Internet Browser

Ever find yourself sitting in front of a computer where Internet Explorer or Firefox was blocked by IT Administrator – and restricted you from installing any software? If that PC is running Windows XP, then there is chance for you to still surf Internet. Just follow these simple steps:

1. Open Calculator, Start> Program Files> Accessories> Calculator or press Windows+R and type ‘calc’ in the run box, click OK.
2. In Calculator, go to Help> Help Topics.
3. Right click on the left hand side of the title bar and click on ‘Jump to URL’.
4. Type in the URL and make sure include the ‘http://’ at the beginning.

Basically what you are looking at is Internet Explorer 6 inside a help window, but this version of program isn’t quite smart as Internet 6. This was tested in Windows XP SP2 with Internet Explorer 6 and I’m not sure whether it will works in Internet Explorer 7 installed computer

My Comment:
Some of our schools doesnt allow us to get to the sites we want like facebook, twitter, etc. This method can help us surf the net without their restrictions. We'll just have to take note that Internet Explorer is what we use when doing this method. Atleast we can surf without restrictions. Enjoy! :)

I WOULD use this at my school, but they use all Apple computers.

I saw a girl that somehow got on Youtube, though. Not sure how.

You could use proxies on entering blocked sites.
Here in the Philippines they use proxies as a Free Browsing Technique. They browse the Internet for free.
Anyways, you could use proxies such as votethru.net,flyproxy.com,sneakme.net,
and you can use some proxies HERE too which is much faster than the ones mentioned above.
On the latter that's what we call Magic IPs. You have to change the proxy settings on the Settings of your browser to start browsing though.

It’s a nice tutorial but I don’t think there is any use of this whole hidden browsing, even from schools etc. There are tons of proxy websites that you can access, and are especially used for the same method. Speaking of accessing Facebook and Twitter from schools, well there is a little workaround and you can easily access them, even from your school or university.

I have tried this before but this only applies to Windows XP. In windows 7, you cannot do this. Though most of the schools are still using windows xp.
