I tried to swap a GT to my main. It says it doesnt exist on xbox live but its still not available. Does anyone know how long it can take for it to become available again?
 
It can take from 30 days to 7 years. This is what I was told when I contacted xbox after swapping " Y G" little did I know you can NOT swap 2 letters.

Your gamertag wasn't a 2 letter was it? and also, are you sure you didn't get turbo'd?
 
No not a 2 letter... i dont think i got turbo'd because it wont let me add it
 
It is most likely not available yet then. They sometimes don't become available right away. Give it a couple of days and just keep trying.
 
yeah i just looked it up i guess it can take up to 48 hours but thats sketchy
 
Is it true people turbo them selves so they cant get turboed?
If so its a good idea.

Are you seriously that stupid? You tried swapping a 2 LETTER when there's an unspaced V1 version. I'm done.
EDIT: Also you CAN swap 2 letters.
 
Its not spaced though... so it should work right?
 
yea it either got turboed or it glitched, usually its 60 minutes after it will be available if it does not have a spaced version or did not get turboed

I didn't know. I'm tried swapping it on my main and next thing you know it's gone for ever. I also heard from like 10 different people you can't swap 2 letters.
Try swapping yours and see what happens LOL

Well I'm not that stupid and those 10 different people are stupid Sparky swapped his 2 letter like a month ago.
 
i think ill be fine... it cant be a spaced version because it would be more than 15 characters

The gamertag doesn't have to be fully spaced out it can be like "Junio r" or "J unior".

Really? Dang. Whatever its not the best tag anyway. I just wanted to try swapping one to see if it would work. Now I know... if i get a good one ill just buy live on it and use it.

its been an hour and a half... still not working.

You wouldn't know because you're a silly random. He used to jack tags, he jacked tags like Spark, Ray, Optimus, Cookie, etc. And you can swap a 2 letter when there is no unspaced version retard or any other sort of version of the gamertag why do you think people buy spaced tags? It's because it pretty much reserves the space gamertag for themselves when the unspaced version get's reset. You're just another ignorant random that doesn't know shit.
