My Stance on Car Enthusiasm
I remember the time I used to mock car noises while scooting a diecast car that weights just over an ounce on the kitchen floor as if it were yesterday. I used to make a near silent whistle in an effort to recreate the whistle of a turbocharger before I even knew what one was. It was as that certain that there were no better times to be had, then racing my stimulant collection of Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars. All up until I was given the chance to drive a real car. From there, my enthusiasm towards cars quickly shifted into an obsession, and ever since, I have never been able to look at a car the same. Having a strong liking for automobiles or the automotive industry does not make one an automobile enthusiast. An automotive enthusiast is one who respects any car and its driver, despite its make or model. A car enthusiast does not focus on the cons of an automobile, instead they focus on the fine engineering and ingenuity that it took to make such a fine automobile.

I did always understand the enthusiast's point of view. There were times were I would look in disgust at the modification people did to their cars. I firmly believed I had the right to give recommendation and handout "you should" ideas. The realization that not everyone is the same and everyone has their own opinion of what looks good struck me like lightning.
