Take off Facebook on an instagram account?

I need to know how to take off a Facebook off an IG account because I have a instagram I am gonna sell soon and I have a Facebook on it. Can this be done? I had a stat pulled back from me and I had my facebook on it so I knew it couldn't but it did. I guess this method also removed the Facebook. If its a private method, pm me, or kik me @016.

Go on Facebook.com look at applications and revoke all . I did this like2 months ago

With the new update you can remove it off the app itself. Simply Click "facebook" in the settings and at the bottom there should be a button to remove accounts.
