Sorry but this has been fixed, the absolute only possibility of you seeing the error is if you somehow change from the forced classic postbit to the horizontal postbit. Which you are the one making the glitch occur, horizontal postbit is forbidden and highly unacceptable. I have removed the feature to change within the user CP but there is around 5 users that are still changing this option somehow, until ones come forth and tells me how hes doing it there is nothing I can do. Stop changing from the FORCED & default postbit or it =the so called glitch will always occur.

This is the fourth post regarding this, perhaps try the extremely efficient search feature next time? I just did a test search with literally only the keywords "postbit" and the next 3 threads below this one is the exact same issue being reported.

Again, STOP changing from the classic postbit to horizontal.

If you go to "Default" thread view mode when it's on Linear, it thinks you're referring to the Horizontal; even though it's not an option. I personally use the Vertical though.
