I came up with this idea a while back but I had no forums or anything to put it to the test, but basically what it is, is..
A section on the forums called "The Lime Light" and what it will give users is a chance to shine and show off anything special that they have. There would be a part under the section for it like "Youtube Edition" which would give members a chance to show off something special they made on youtube and be able to get recognition for it, seeing as most people don't have many subscribers on youtube and can't get known.
Their would also be another sub-forums in the Youtube Edition called Sub4Sub which allows users to make threads advertising their youtube channel and people would sub to them if they subbed back.
Some ideal forums for this new section would be Youtube Edition, Programming Edition, Websites Edition.
I think this will generate a lot of popularity and if it doesn't it could always be removed
