I went on the online users, and I saw little stars above some peoples user names? Why is that? Sorry if its a stupid question.

It's for users that are online, but are appearing offline. It only shows if you're upgraded, so guests and regular members can't see those members on the online list.

You get them with certain groups. It is optional when creating a group.
