The Price of Userbars

To myself and many others, groups aren't worth a lot on this forum.
I believe that the reason they are tossed around and valued so little, is because there isn't much of an investment being made when buying a group. Not only that, there are far too many groups for the amount of active users on this forum, but I digress.
As of a week ago, I have made the decision to increase the pricing of my userbar service, and I am hoping that those that are capable of making them do the same. Visiting other forums, I've found that for the same effort, I could be making minimum quadruple the amount that I do here. Proportionally, I have raised my prices by about double.
My reasoning behind this decision is not simply to make more money (though it is a bonus), but to hopefully give quality userbars a little more value, and therefore give the groups that wear them the same treatment. I also feel that my skills in creating such graphics have improved and I am qualified to charge as much as I like, considering I am one of two users on this forum capable of creating a quality userbar.

So true, a different forum with usually 700+ members daily only have like 15 groups I think. There are like 30 on here lol

This was smart of you to do. I also think there are FAR too many groups for this website.

I'm glad you raised your prices.
It, as you said, will make both the userbars, and the groups using them have more quality.

And those groups sell for over 5k now lol

You'd be LUCKY to even be chosen to create a userbar for one of the groups on the other forum.

Seriously though, lowering the number of groups would increase quality. I have seen so many pointless groups for example, Mason has his own group for him.
