I have decided to open up A debate to see if i should rejoin runescape. Please post your pros and cons

Eg

Pros: it is really fun and you enjoy yourself
Cons: you sit in front of pc getting fat all day

Pros: You can earn real money for selling GP's to kids

Cons:
* Most people that plays is 7-12year old
* Alot of people tend to ask for money 24/7, you can't go through G.E without gettin begged.
* It's boring because alot of people uses illegal softwares instead of playing manually
* They are trying way to hard to get good graphics on website/game instead of actually focusing on the gameplay..
* You really need to be Members to actually enjoy the game, f2p can't really do shit.

  • It is good if you want time to pass quickly.
  • It is fun if you have nothing to do.
  • You can sometimes meet people that you can be friend of.
  • You will mostly only find 7-12 years old if you're in F2P

Cons:
  • It gets boring after a good amount of time playing it.
  • Like Spitzy said, you need P2P to really enjoy the game.

Pros:
  • RuneScape is an AMAZING time killer, so if you've got nothing to do other then watch T.V. after school/work then this is where it can fit in.
  • You'll meet a lot of awesome people on RuneScape, some that you will talk to everyday and build great relationships with.
  • RuneScape in itself is a game that supplies lots of rewarding activities; such as watching your stats level as time progresses, and watching your bank grow!
  • RuneScape has so much to do, that in theory you'll never become bored. The game literally takes years, and years to master.
  • The way RuneScape is developed is very interesting, as it's a game that has frequent updates and is always being improved.


Cons:
  • Certain parts of the RuneScape community can be pretty ugly. So you might want to stay away from those types of people.
  • Balancing RuneScape and your real life can be pretty difficult some times, as RuneScape requires a lot of time and dedication.
  • Quite often you'll find yourself frustrated within RuneScape, it happens to all of us. You just have to learn to avoid frustrating skills and activities (I'm looking at YOU AGILITY!)

Other then that I don't have much to say.
I personally play RuneScape everyday and enjoy it very much.

It's similar to every other MMORPG, pros: Fun, time-waster and can give you experience for other aspects of your life (time management, etc), whereas the cons: Addictive, time-waster and possibly monetary waste.

Your choice, if you lack self control I don't recommend you play it or you'll be hooked extremely.

- best PVP system that i have seen in any games.
- fun
- can make rl cash


con's;
-addictive
-way too many geeks
-too many pixel huggers
-seperates you from the real world


I havent played in about 2 and a half years, i played every now and then to go and stake and sell rsgp but thats it.

games got nothing for me anymore, all i did was pk and stake but too many faggots fucked that up

Pros: It's a basic simulation of life, you can learn many ways to survive in the wilderness after falling from a helicopter.
- You learn how to weave fishing nets to cast out into a stream and fish up some shrimp to keep yourself nourished for the long nights ahead.
- You learn how to cook said shrimp and eventually work your way up to more elaborate fish.
- You learn how to barter with the natives of the tribe 'noobikies' and exchange your food for bronze metals.
- With your bare fists you master the combat skills necessary to fend off green semi-homoerectus creatures.
- You've also learned how to persuade said creatures to teach you how to mould metals and forge them into weapons with only the power of the sun
- You then increase your knowledge by doing redundant tasks for the local village, often using your machete to hack at their vines while being cautious of the infected ones.
- You also learn how to save a town from impending doom by slaying well armoured zombies.

Cons: It's runescape.

-Takes forever to get good to do anything
-Most of community are immature
-Jagex is stoopid

pros : basic life skills in the game really cool, bit of an indirect history lesson, time killer, very fun, probably the best free Multiplayer game on the net
cons: addiction resulting in bad vision and may impact your social health

-sorta addictive to play
-easy to sell RSGP and the price is fairly good GP:$
-easy to AFK train/bot whilst doing other things irl... or fapping.

Cons:
-updates are now lame gimmicks to get more subscribers.
-High risk pking is just far from profitable, since nobody else wants to do it because of all the looting, pjing douchebags, which is a shame...
-I feel the game is just too easy nowadays. By a mile. For example... I remember like 5 or 6 years ago the idea of 99magic in under 24hours just seemed impossible. Whereas now it is possible (especially if you had those old magic brawlers for 4x exp) if you have a bil or two to spend.
