Gurus of India:
India has a rich tradition of Gurus. These Gurus help us lead a good life. In Sanskrit it is written that “Guru Brahma Guru Vishnu Guru Deva Maheswara. Gurueva param Brahma Tasmei Shri Gurave namahaâ€. This means Guru is like God. We cannot see God but we can see Guru. So if you take “Diksha†from Guru then you can lead your life happily. But I am not sure about the importance of Gurus. Gurus cannot be like God. They are religious persons. I think we need to follow 330000000 Hindu Gods instead of Gurus. I am not sure about the hierarchy or inter-religion relationship of Gods.
Here is the list of Gurus that I know:
1. Sri Sri Anukul Chandra Thakur
2. Sri Sri Ravishankar
