So I'm not here to argue over what religion is right and which is wrong. Everyone deserves to believe what they want to and I respect that.

Me being a believer in Islam have a little bit of knowledge in the subject and would like to let you guys know some about it.

Normally in today's society Islam is looked down on by some people in the aspect of all of us being "terrorists". So most people do not have any knowledge in the subject.

Today I would like to discuss why Muslims choose to use the Arabic word "Allah" (AL-Lah)
And why Muslims prefer to use this word rather then the word "God". I know Arabic being the Muslim language plays a factor in this obviously but still there is more to the word then you may think.

Now to the point, it's not a long point but more a rather simple point. The word Allah is used commonly besides God by the Muslims for 3 reasons.

1) it's Arabic, being the Arabic language
2) That's how "God" is addressed in the holy book of the Muslims "Quran"
3) The point I made this thread for is the reason Allah is used more than god because it is a word which I'm Arabic or English cannot be "correctly" be used with a suffix. Meaning there is no grammatically correct word such as Allahs or Allahess like how the word god can be made into Gods or Goddess the word Allah cannot grammatically correct be made into a word in that sence.

That is all my friends and I thought id add to your knowlge :)

Again I did not make this thread to spark any arguments so do me a favor and keep any arguments off this thread :)

And people with turbans are actually Sikhs right?

Yes even though some Muslims do wear a turban on the rear occasion, turbans are the headgear of the sikhs
