Today we can see many people from Hindu Brahman families and Jain families are eating meat openly! Of course they are all educated lot and I find no fault in this! Will this liberation lead for good? Will there be a time when people will forget the religion differences and become one? Your comment please? Thanks!

I wonder how people remain on with their faith and beliefs when they've cross the borders or breaks any rules.
It is under their religious oath and beliefs,so they should and must follow it religiously,or else,it's worthless.

Nowadays many Hindu Brhmin and Jain families in India eat meat though it is forbidden in their religious scriptures. The fact is that we are living in a globalised world. Our eating habits have changed. Eating meat will not make us less religious.

Some people only consider pork and beef are meat. Chicken meat, fish meat and others are still meat. What particular meat do you mean? I think you are referring to pork and beef meat.

yes even i have notices several brahamans switching to non vegetarian diet oftentimes even though its restricted in our culture.but we shouldn't link our religion to our eating habits,no religion will ask you to feed on animals blood as i think.we should keep these two separate and if we are truly religious we should switch on to vegetarian diet.i myself am a non vegetarian, slowly turning into a vegetarian one.

Faith is upon what you believe and who are laying those faith into someone. Restrictions is just so so, it's just the religions make it more complicated to be united.

My dear friend we do a lot of things which our religion forbids us to. Like which one says to steal but we do, which one says to tell lies but we do and which one says to kill but we still do. So please do not consider small things like eating meat with religion reasons and let it be a simple eating habit.

Well meat is important for the body because it is the number one source of iron. We need iron to prevent anemia. So I think it is okay to eat meat.

But then in your situation you said it is prohibited by their religion so I think its wrong to eat them if it is prohibited in your belief. If they want to eat meat then maybe they should transfer to another religion. What is the use of staying in a religion where you don't follow it's practices.

Nothing you can do about it. You can't murder them for eating meat; they have a right to do what they want.
