When someone tells me:
"If we came from monkeys, then why are they still here?"

I always respond with:
"After you make popcorn, why are there still a few kernels in the bag?"

Does this make sense to anyone else or just me?​

I try to steer clear of Religion in General.

a shitty analogy for many reasons but the concept is similar. but the reason all the kernels don't pop is due to their location in the bag. speciation occurs for many other reasons besides location. but funny comparison nonetheless.

It's a weak comparison in theory, but a good visual comparison. There has always been a variety of primates, we are a type of primate that has evolved more than the other primates.

Does it say Mathematics Major? No, it says Math Wiz. It means i'm good at math if people need my help. Would you prefer "I'm good at math." "PM me because I can do math very well." Or, howabout, "Mathematician" so I can sound very intellectual and brilliant.
 
I see what you're saying, but they're really for different reasons. Popular theories state that this is due to genetic alterations over millions of years, not because they were put into heat and some just didn't.
