Personally I'd say #2 because they do look a lot better than #1 and from what I'm seeing, they both have the same features.

You can get a chacharias for like 70$, comes with perfect 2 year warranty like all razer products and you get a new one within a week when yours breaks. I have a full razer setup Keyboard: lycosa mirror edition
Mouse: naga
Headset: chacharias
Mousemat: Goliathus speed
Only my naga broke after 4 months and i get a new one within 7 days and a fresh warranty. It might seem expensive to start with but think about it.

If it's just for skype, then get a cheap logitech one.

Second, it looks comfier and you save a few dollars.

I'd reccomend these though.

$100 a pair, but worth it.
The first I've had for the last three years and it's worked flawlessy. Perfect sound (has more bass than the Razer Carcharias), crystal mic, comfortable. It's great.
The second I'd recommend simply because it's wireless. Treat it well and it'll last a lifetime.

Number 2 for these reasons;
1.) They're cheaper.
2.) Similar features.
3.) They look better.

If you were to go with Logitech, you may as well go with the G35, the worst headset ever made. Always avoid surround sound headphones.

Those headsets are disgusting, save up and get AD700s with a zalman clip on mic or invest in some 558s or 598s. Don't bother with these.

>implying I want to save. I just want it to chat. I'm not a hardcore gamer.. don't get that stereo type... and these ones are perfect for music

= vibration control = best investment.
