This new theme is really odd looking to me.. Is there anyway to put the old theme back on? And I feel like all the old members left or something. ._.

I honestly don't like the new theme that much either, like the old one was way better and it was more user friendly.

I don't really like it, but it is more modern and looks more like all social media's these days. Thats probably what this theme is going for, a sleek, modern look.

Old themes, functionality wise, are outdated. Switching to mybb 1.8 made those themes obsolete. Gradientless (flat) approach was made in order to accommodate upcoming feature (Philly mentioned that in his news thread and on FB page).

It's not that bad, but yeah I still prefer the old theme, I see where you're coming from.

I hate the new theme. The old theme is much easier to navigate.

Personally I am pretty okay with the new theme, change is good.

And yeah, all the older members are pretty much gone except for a very few amount that are pre mid 2013-2014.

Im new here, but I really dont like this theme.
