Thoughts on this theme?

So recently out of pure boredom, I wanted to kind of start a site. Still no idea yet, however I did have my friend create a theme for me and I want opinions and thoughts on this theme. If anything minor could change, let me know and suggest. I am no stranger to coding minor things on themes.

This domain name is just what I had laying around, I may or may not use it when I do create my site. Who knows.



The theme is there and I added test categories and forums for viewing with posts. I have a few plug ins installed, but not many.

So again, thoughts? I'd appreciate it.

Yeah, I noticed that. I haven't bothered much with spam prevention as it's just a test and creation site. Might play around with the colors and what not as well. I'm just doing this for my own knowledge and further it on coding themes.

I've turned registrations off for the time being, if I do decide to release my site, I will open them and advertise my site. But as of right now, that likely won't be for a while. I have a few things on my "to-do" list on the site and in real life. But thanks for your comment.

I like the colors, but the theme feels empty to me. Somethings missing, but I can't quite put my finger on what it is.

Yeah, the red is a little hard on the eyes. I may just make it so there is a rainbow of colors for people to pick from. It wouldn't be hard at all, nor would it take much time as it's all coded into the site, just need to pick different color codes.

Also, the color should maybe be dark purple, or dark orange?
