Tips for securing IG account

I'm buying an IG stat from someone offsite. Does anyone have any tips for securing it so it doesn't get pulled back, or can anyone help me do it for a few bucks?

I know when I swap email they can pull back the account, is there a way to break it so that link won't work?

Not sure on breaking the link, but I heard someone recently pulled back an account cause it was linked to a Facebook, so be careful of that man.

Make sure he doesn't have a facebook linked to it and add your facebook.
