To be Human

What aspects of human nature really make us the dominant species that we are? Why is it that humans get to call themselves "humanity," while millions of other species are only referred to as such? What exactly is it, in out nature, that makes us a part of "humanity" as well?

don't get me wrong, and I don't mean to complain, but I was hoping for a little more in depth, being imperfect is a given, most people know that, and if they don't, they are pretty damn concieted

What makes us human is our ability to LOVE.

Animals mate for the sake of the survival of their species. They don't go in partners of opposite genders because they love each other but it is a natural instinct that they do it to multiply.

Another thing is what we call MORALS. That is, we know what is right and wrong. Like for example, killing other people or hurting them is wrong. In animals, when one animals get killed, the suspect doesn't get punished nor does the victim mourned.

Biologically the reasons humans are so "superior" is that natural selection has no effect on them. The human race is so massive because it manipulates nature that's around it, therefore nothing can take place.
