"To believe in God..."

Believing in God isn't sacrificing your whole life being devoted to an idealism, it's more a way of living your life with morales and principles.

People use religion in many different ways (war/love) but in a logical sense the belief of God is quite absurd.

I'm not religious, just giving my 2 cents.

I'd say believing in God is ultimately your decision, thoughts and mind frame. In my opinion, i don't REALLY believe in God, i go to a catholic school but in reality, when has God or Jesus EVER came down to help us? I'm not trying to start a whole new debate, but i believe in Aliens more than God. There's proven support, fact's and more that i've SEEN and are ALL over the world, proving the help from higher or supernatural power. There has been sightings, catchings, there is PROOF on the internet and in the world at a place called "Puma Punku" or whatever, where there are these giant stone tablets with the most precise cutting that you'd need machinery back then, but there was NONE. Not to mention the stone was "Diarite" or whatever its called.. Meaning, the only thing stronger that can cut it is DIAMOND. So you're telling me the workers from back then had Diamond tipped chisels, making perfectly straight lines and holes in one of the hardest stones in the whole world, back then WITHOUT machinery? I can provide video proof of this information. Discuss!

Maybe they didn't have machinery, but that's no reason to say that aliens came in. Maybe they just spent like 2 years cutting the stone or whatever it was.

Edit:
I do believe in God, but now exactly how the bible describes him/her/it.
I just think that there's something out there that can see us.

same here. I believe but I do not agree with the bible 100%.

Also, if anyone says if you believe in god you are an idiot and that religion did not good for humanity, might want to do some research.

Explain to me what it has done that is good for humanity. Most wars in the past (Read: hundreds of years. Not last 100 or so) have been based solely on religion. One religion hating another is what fueled many wars.

Money is what made all the world's problems start.

Money also fuels the world. No money = no products. No one works for free.

The lines were PERFECTLY straight. Measured the same way in each angle and the holes made were impossible at that time with chisels. The holes were too small to even be touched by Chisels. Did i mention the stone was DIARITE? The only thing able to pierce and cut through Diarite is DIAMOND. You're telling me their Chisels were tipped with Diamonds? There is PROVEN evidence that machinery was used there, when machinery didn't even exist until CENTURIES after. Like i said, can provide with video proof. Not saying i dont believe in God, but my beliefs are stronger elsewhere. Believing in God makes you forced to believe in evil; aka devils, demons and more.

What god are we discussing to believe in? As I have no faith in any type of religion worshipping THEIR god, nor am I atheist. I personally believe that these beliefs just cause hate/war. (Anyone care to prove me wrong here? I'm no expert with religions or have studied it for the matter) But I attended a catholic primary school, just due to its convenience of distance/location to my house. What happened to all that apocalypse sh*t where if you weren't catholic or Christian (I have no clue what religion it was) You'd be taken to hell? I really have no clue with this topic and just throwing in my opinion, that I don't believe there is a god to be worshipped.

Wrong. Diarite can be anywhere from 2.5-7 on mohs scale(The scale for how hard a mineral is). Diamond is 10 on the scale. There are plenty of minerals above 7 and there are A LOT above 2. Stop listening to Fox News esque propaganda.

Atheism = Don't believe in the existence deity
Agnostic = Don't believe in religion but you believe there is a deity out there
Religion = Self explanatory

"I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours." - Stephen F Roberts

Personally, I'm agnostic and do not believe in the Biblical description of god.

I'd like to see the video.

Also I'd just like to say you can smash a diamond with a hammer, It's all to do with momentum, and the force.

He's talking about cutting, not smashing

There is no god, will never be any god. Stupid religious cunts need to stop knocking on my door.

I know, but for example if they had made a tool of some sort and used a hammer like item (say a stone), it could work.. I'm not too knowledgable about stone tools so I'm just guessing tbh :3

Tools made out of stone wouldn't work. They'd shatter on impact.

Copper tools probably would, but they would get blunt quickly
