To Much Rep for Power

I personally do not think Power members should have similar rep ability as the staff. +10 and -10 are huge reps to be giving. I feel all it is doing is causing problems. Most Power members will +10 members without a legitimate reason hoping to get rep in return. The rep system here only seems to be used for "Fun" and without a purpose. Now if you make it so rep's need be valid that would change the playing field. For example, rep should only be given out to members who help others out when they have a specific problem, or for feedback from marketplace transactions. They should have a valid reason for giving it. Like if they helped you out, or if you had a transaction with them.

The reputation system was created to distinguish the good from bad members or feedback on the member. +10 Reps saying "HQ Member" or "Stay HQ" don't show a members legitimacy. Now if you see a rep saying "Legit seller, bought an account from him. Smooth transaction" you will know he is a legit seller. It would be very easy for an experienced scam artist to join this site, build up rep to make him look trusted and then go on a scamming spree.

I feel that improving the rep system and having more rules regarding rep will only benefit the site and keep members legit. But this is just my opinion.

rep does not = trust the ez trade system is used for that. Rep is for the opinion on a user and is literally only for "fun".

On that note staff have the ability ot use +20 and -20 power hAVE 10 AND ONYX HAVE 5 the system is currently fine. The only problem is when people bitch about neg reps. If you have a neg rep deal with it.
