I'm suggesting a "Trade with Caution" title for scammers. It would be put on as a usertitle, and can't be edited by the user, only staff. On HF, staff didn't do shit about scammers, and barely anyone checked rep/scam reports, so this title would be an easy giveaway that you either shouldn't deal with this user or make them go first. It can be removed by staff if they feel to do so.

Great idea, But If someone scams here they will be banned as long as there is enough proof.

Trade with caution, would be good for people who might be a scammer.

Imo, implementing it right now, is not needed. Maybe in the future, but we really do not need it right now. If anyone seems fishy, Philly will be sure to take care of it.

Anyone who has an open scam report against them that is under investigation should have it for the time being.

So if i go make a scam report saying Philly scammed me, he should get a twc? No...

Like i said, i really don't think a new ranks is needed at this time.

No. Under Investigation would mean a well crafted scam report with viable evidence, it just needs to be looked into more. Not "Philly scammed meh TWC him NAO!!1!11!!111!1111"

I am planning on doing something like this when the revamp occurs. Scammers will be marketplace banned permanently. But they will not be banned from forumkorner. Just the marketplace section. They will also have a permanent marketplace ban primary group, With a "known scammer" AS the user title. This is better than actually perm banning users for scamming. As they would just make a new account and do it again. Perhaps this will help fight against that from happening.

yeah. Im in anti-scammers so i will deff help out with spotting scammers. and ive been scammed like 20 times. (HF)

actua;;y philly, I traded with a member of forumkorner a while back who may have scammed me. the person charged back and I got an email from him that he will send me back the money asap when he is online. the dispute is over and he got his money back. He has not been online since then so ill give him another week or so to send me my money or I will open a scam report

You need to open a scam report now. If he pays back then you get it deleated/resolved.

it doesnt matter who it is. the dispute ended about a few days ago and I sent him a pm telling him to resend me the money. I gave him what he wanted and he has not been online since then. I told him to resend me the money since the dispute was over, and he has not sent it yet. its been about 4 days now since he has been online. Ill give him another week before I post a scam report

Until a scam report is open, A scam has not occurred. If you have been charged back chances are you will not get anything ever from this person. I suggest opening a scam report ASAP!
