I know there is an existing scam report on him, but the person posting there has very little rep. But I went to buy the IG username @w*nt from @trapper, he insisted that there be no middleman. I contacted user @rambo here and he vouched that he recently had a valid transaction with @trapper. So I decided to give it a shot. I sent $250 BTC, trapper said "alright", and that was it. Haven't heard from him since. His kiks are all delivering and not being read. I told him he had until this time tonight to respond, he hasn't.
It wasn't an imposter either, he showed proof of the account from kik. I can upload the entire kik and PM conversation if requested. My report here probably won't matter anyway, since I'm new, but it's worth a shot. I can't make a real scammer thread since I don't have access to post in that part of the forum unfortunately.
He's playing stupid through PMs saying we never organized the deal, but here's the thing, I only have ever given out my kik to 3 different people, ever. I sent it to him via PM and he acknowledged he was @trapper here, then proceeded to like 2 of my photos from @w*nt (through kik), upon request.
Can't believe I got scammed...

That's kinda your fault, if anyone ever denies using a MM he's 99.9% trying to scam you.

That's what I thought, naturally seemed like a scam. But then I got a the testimony from rambo and I went based off of that. The problem was the @ I was buying was perfect for what I needed and I had been searching for it for a long time.

You live and learn I guess...

This scam report is invalid I took that Instagram off the market and you never pmed me anything about buying the Instagram and I never sent you my btc address. I only deal onsite for future reference in your new deals. Only deal through Pms.

Sucks to see this happen to new members. Only way for us to believe you is to provide proof, makes the case easier for both us and you.

Yeah, you told me to contact you on kik because PMs were difficult (for faster contact)

I personally know @"trapper", and can personally vouch that he would never scam. Also, Kik is not concidered valid evidence, and the PMs don't really prove anything. And, I know that he only deals through FK PMs.

EDIT: You're also threatening him, and saying in your BTC notes that you have his full name, which is also a threat, and a lie.

Obviously it was a life, but when you lose $250 you try anything you can pull.
If you know him and have done deals with him before, mind posting his BTC address?
Or better yet, @rambo would you consider posting the one he used while working with you? (with my luck he'll have two addresses

Never done deals with BTC. I've only ever used PayPal/trades.

Does it make sense that he would refuse to use a middle man though? I offered paypal initially, I could understand that he wouldn't want to do that with a low rep member like me though, but he should want to use a middle man because I was such low rep...

I can also show the timing of the messages, he did not reply via PM to me for over 2 days, then when I finally sent the BTC (via kik talk), not 30 minutes later he replied via PM with the message asking if I was still interested (obvious BS).

You guys are fucking stupid @trapper is a scammer aka Dankest who scams people like this all the fucking time. He did this on HF to 4 people and also is a known scammer offsite. @trapper is also a multi as his original account is banned for scamming. If you are defending him you are a complete retard but of course it is 2014 kids defending him. @devil. @chaos @Trilogy all know that it is dankest. This is @Adorable all over again or better @Plasma or @Michael not the staff 2013 one but Almost.

I hope you guys do something about it, but I'm just going to forget the social media username thing for now, too risky, all I wanted was a few good names to grow some stats in my free time. SEO seems to be a better investment long term for me anyway... Maybe I'll lurk here occasionally from now on.
