Okay runegear boys and girls, this is a pretty weird trick/ cool thing i found out, and it is really hard to type out, at the moment, I don't know why

Bare with me, okay the reason for the bizarre title i couldn't tell ya but I don't know what else to call it.

Today i was getting ghostly robes from the side quest of desert treasure.
I went to check the stats, of the robes online and i stumbled upon runewiki, it said

HIGH ALCH:180GP


Instantly something clicked in my head!


SideNote: Natures are 160gp at the time i wrote this.
atm price of nats:146

=20gp per alch profit!

Heres the guide part of it:

Requirements: Done 1 part of DT up to the part with kamil, to obtain invisibility ring, must have ghost speak ammulet.


Steps:

1. You go to glarials tomb spot, with your ring and amulet equipped you talk to the stranger and he will give you a ghostly robe eventually.

2. If you drop/alch the robe he will give you another one!

3. Alch and repeat.


Pros: Lots of mage exp, make 20k every 1k alches, and you don't need alot of startup cash just enough to buy nature runes.

Cons: very tedious, maximum concentration for maximum results

Conclusion: I know you guys are thinking wtf? are you dumb your going to get arthritis from picking up and dropping so much. But heres the thing, IF SOME programmer could make a script for this, it would be beautiful, and to my understanding of coding it wouldn't be that difficult.

I have finished desert treasure, but not the second requirement. If someone could lend me their account with nats and a firestaff equiped, and their near the person to get ghostly robes, the script can come much faster.

Eape, you don't understand, instead of losing money for gaining magic experience, your making cash.
If you did the timing right maybe it'd be no more than 2.0-2.5x slower? Can't remember if you get the robes automatically or have to talk with him a bit girst, if you got them automatically then the bot could click before your available to do another alch, would be the same speed then as normal alching.
You'd make lots of cash for a highly successful script, until Jagex finds out and changes the alch price. :sad2:

Even if you don't get them automatically, botting slowly to 99 and actually making cash is outstanding.
Biggest problem i see is the requirements and you can't do it on multiple accounts at once. :embarassed:

Requirements aren't that hard joel, since most pures do dt and most mains. But you bring up a very good point! making cash especially to 99 with this method you could make 6.7m from 55-99, and that could be botted in less then a week non stop! "correct me if im wrong" which is great!!! and that is just atm. but PLEASE botters keep botting NATS!!

Yeah it is great, and it's great that the biggest problem isn't that huge, just would be fun to have it available earlier.
Then again that would be selfish to expect 99 mage for free and not have requirements besides 55 mage, lol.
