Turboing

Ok, so this just happened to me and I dunno where I stand really

So I dealt with a user on the other site for a twitter, it was an OG

He went first and sent me the money and I sent him the account, I check my inbox and he just sends me "..." and I assume I accidently sent him the wrong details but I was sure I was correct, so I ask him what the problem was

he said "I tried to swap the name and you turbo'd it"

I dunno where I stand really, this hasn't happened to me before, I reassured him that it wasn't me and the account has a bunch of japanese symbols on them and has "Jap-turb.net" in the location

I don't want him to assume I turbo'd it when I didn't and charge back on me and I'll be out of pocket and no twitter

It is his fault for swapping a public twitter, he should still pay you.

These scenarios are always interesting.

Let's back track real quick:
1. You sold the user a Twitter handle.
2. The user was obviously an idiot and decides to swap the handle right away.
3. Now they are blaming you for their asinine mistake.

Technically speaking, it is completely their fault for attempting to swap the Twitter handle and you should not be at fault. You win some, you lose some.

just wanna clear it up, he did pay me, he went first, but we dealt in paypal and obv there the problem of chargeback

ive dealt with the user before and he is legit so i assume he wont chargeback, I just wasnt sure what the usual procedure for this stuff was, every other deal i have done has gone smooth so far

Your not in the fault here. However the chance of him charging back is pretty high. He would be classified as the scammer though.

it's his fault. He payed for the account and you supplied him with the account. After he has the account it is not your problem if he decides to stupidy swap it right away and get it turboed.

I agree with everyone else honestly, he shouldn't have swapped so quickly. Keep the money, you did it legit so yeah. Let's hope he has enough sense not to charge back because of his own stupidity
