If you do not like the warning beeps your system makes when you make a mistake, you can turn it off by going to the Registry and looking for this string:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\CONTROL PANEL\Sound
Right-click on the 'Beep' key in the right pane and select 'Modify'. Change the Value Data to 'NO'. Close the Registry and reboot your computer for the changes to take affect.
