Themes

First, you must find a theme. Heres a few good websites:
http://mods.mybboard.net/themes
http://www.mybbcentral.com/forum-5.html
http://www.ivgeo.net/

After downloading a theme, extract it to a folder.

Then, Go to Admin Control Panel and click "Templates & Style"

Then, Click "Import A Theme"

Then, locate the file by clicking "Choose" and finding the .xml file in the theme folder.

Then, you don't have to touch "Parent Theme".

Then, you can put a "New Name" if you wish but otherwise, you can leave it blank.

Then, make your you check "Ignore Version Compatibility", "Import Stylesheets" and "Import Templates" so all 3 of the selections.

Then, Click "Import Theme" and your halfway done!

Now, open your FTP server (hosting control pannel) and go into the MyBB folder (the forum files).

After doing that, merge the theme image folder usually named "images" with the root/images folder.

After all the images have been imported, bam! Your done.

To add a finishing touch, I suggest downloading Photoshop and editing the default logo. To download photoshop for free, use http://www.Katz.cd. Only download the programs that have a 4/5 or 5/5 rating.

Plugins

First, you must find a plugin. I usually find mine at one of the following websites:
http://www.mybbcentral.com/forum-5.html
http://mods.mybboard.net/mods

Some MyBBCentral plugins will be free, while most will require a subscription. I bought my subscription last month, and I love it!

Now, open your FTP server (hosting control pannel) and go into the MyBB folder (the forum files).

After doing that, import the plugin. There are different ways depending on the plugin. Labroccas plugins always come with great instructions.

Then after, go to Admin Control Panel and click on "Plugins" on the left side, navigation menu.

Find the theme and click "Install" or "Activate". So make sure the theme is installed and activated.

Now the fun part, on the top navigation bar, click "Configuration", scroll down to find the plugin, now edit the settings.

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial. Please comment if you have any questions. Bye for now.
