How to download shows on your iPod nonjailbroken and jailbroken
First go to the app store and get the app downloads by zian zin Jong it's 1.99 or if you want you can get lite but lite only let's you have 7 files saved at a time but full you can have unlimited (if you are jailbroken you can get this off of installous if you don't know how to do thy I will have a tut in here) after downloading the app you are going to want to go to any mp4 download sites you know
Here are some examples:

•http://chronictv.org/ (shows)<--- very good
After finding you show depending on the site there will be different ways to download I will explain how to download from both of my examples
mobiletheater
1.find your show
2.choose your season
3.click your show an it should bring you to megaupload or any other download site once the 45 seconds or whatever time you have to wait is done and you see a download link press and hold the link and then a thing will come up saying download, copy or open click download then another page will come up on the top right it will say done or save( I forgot what it says just click it ) and your show will start downloading

1.choose a channel(when you click one let's say for example fox it will show simpsons,family guy and futurama)
2.pick a show
3.choose your season
4.choose your episode
5.after clicking your episode it will bring you to a Page like this(the looks are now a bit different but it's still the same)
6.if you click download it will look like this
7. wait for the count down to finish then hol the download till the screen pops up saying copy,download and open click download another page will come up click the blue button on the top(save or done I forgot with it says)
8.your download will start
