UFC 130 - Discussion and predictions

I'm not sure if anybody on RG follows MMA to any extent, but I will be watching tonight because Rampage Jackson is fighting :tongue2:

UFC 130

Preliminary card (Facebook)
Bantamweight bout: Renan Barão vs. Cole Escovedo
Bantamweight bout: Michael McDonald vs. Chris Cariaso
Lightweight bout: Gleison Tibau vs. Rafaello Oliveira

Preliminary card (Spike TV)
Middleweight bout: Kendall Grove vs. Tim Boetsch
Bantamweight bout: Miguel Torres vs. Demetrious Johnson

Main card
Middleweight bout: Brian Stann vs. Jorge Santiago
Welterweight bout: Thiago Alves vs. Rick Story
Heavyweight bout: Stefan Struve vs. Travis Browne
Heavyweight bout: Frank Mir vs. Roy Nelson
Light Heavyweight bout: Quinton Jackson vs. Matt Hamil




I'm not too interested in any of the prelims, but the main card is decent.
I'm picking Struve > Browne, Nelson > Mir, and Jackson > Hamil.
I expect Struve and Jackson to win by (T)KO, but Mir and Nelson could very well go to a decision. If not, I expect that fight to end in a (T)KO as well, because they're both very solid BJJ blackbelts.
I'm pretty stoked to see Rampage throw some hands.

Ill take that bet. Silva is just on an entire different level than every other fighter. He just embarrasses almost every1 he fights, I don't see him losing
