hi

i think that almost every one here know this but, thought it will be helpful for some new members :p
This guide will allow your computer to run more smoothly with that extra kick of RAM.

Step 1.
Install the USB Flashdrive to your computer. Make sure there is

ABSOLUTELY nothing on the flashdrive, so format before continuing to next step.

Step 2.
Go to Computer > right click your flashdrive > Properties > ReadyBoost Tab

Step 3.
Check the box saying "Use this device" and drag the slider all the way to the right so you can use the full power of your flash drive.

Step 4.
Click Apply and OK. You will have a file in your flashdrive called ReadyBoost. DO NOT touch that!

There you go, you now have extra RAM for your PC.

Now before you flame me... here are some IMPORTANT things to remember.

-The RAM added will not show up on your installed
memory because it is Virtual Memory.
-DO NOT remove the flashdrive from your computer while it is still on, turn it off before unplugging. If you unplug while the computer is on, it may result in a crash.
-You can use as many Flashdrives as you have USB ports.
-I recommend you change the name of the flashdrive to RAM or MEMORY,
so you don't accidentally do something with it.
-DO NOT put anything onto the USB drive.

Have you tried this? And also, would this work with external HDD which has 1TB of space? That would be epic.

'Unlimited' = Not exactly the case. You can add the amount of USB sticks you want, but you'll be limited no matter what.

Offtopic, but I still wanted to say it : Everythings gonna be alright reminds me of a song. Bob Marley ftw...

On topic : I recommend don't do it with hard drives. Best recommend with USBs only.

Just remeber that it the usb flash drives are also slower then real memory... But if your running low on memory and useing hard disk space for virtual memory anyways...

Thanks for sharing!!
