Unlock mouse while typing?

Got my new laptop, yay, but there's something really annoying, I can't move my mouse while I'm typing, while playing a game where you move your camera with your mouse and move your character with WASD. So yeah, I can't walk and look around at the same time, how do I disable this? I've been looking in Google for about 30 minutes now and without being able to find an answer, so asking RG now. I thought of disabling the mouse/touchpad driver but I don't want to do that because I still want to be able to do the things I can such as 2 fingers for scrolling down/up, going on the metro thing back and forth, etc. By the way I'm using Windows 8. Can anyone help me please?

I have never experienced this or even heard of this problem. It's very odd in my opinion. Since you said your using Windows 8 it makes me assume that it is connected to that. Perhaps @"Adam" has encountered this problem and figured it out before.

You might be able to find settings for it in your control panel. So try looking around in there and let me know if you find anything.

I believe he posted it on a different thread. I would find it for you and post the link here, but that's a pain to do on my phone.

i7 3630QM 2.40 GHz
AMD Radeon HD7670M 1GB

Very good. I remember that used to cost 1k. I might invest in a computer now.

Looks okay for the price. What company is it? Is it a 7200RPM HDD or 5400RPM? You should of gone for a 1600 x 900 display but it's NBD.

Samsung. About the price, not exactly sure, because USD isn't used here. It is 5400 RPM I think. And there isn't a lot where to choose from here :/
