Hello fellow The Discussion Zone members,
In the last week or so we have had a lot happen to The Discussion Zone. So much has happened in the past week its amazing. All the staff have been hard at work at making new post, making the site look better, advertising the site, bringing Paid To Post back, setting up new user groups, and so much more. Staff have been working on putting a lot more post up on the forum, you may have noticed this but if you haven’t be prepared because there is more to come! Post count how been going up up and up, just the other day we saw a spike in the post count we love to see that, so keep up the good work on posting. Cooper and George have been working on a new theme that has now been released, we knew the members would be mad about changing the theme again. But we think it paid off quiet nicely, if we are going to make any new themes we will just put it as a choice to choose from instead. The site seemed to be a little dead the other day so Cooper went around advertising the site in many different places. In the 1-2 free hour advertising he brought over 5members which is pretty good. We have been talking about bringing back the develope group for MyBB that would build plugins and themes. This would also enable us to supply mybb forum support. We are getting very excited because we are releasing some exciting features that you guys will all love!
The Discussion in the Social Network:
The Discussion Zone twitter has just shot out of the dark, we went from 2 subscribers to 300+! We have been updating the twitter daily with great information, if you like to know about information before its even posted subscribe to our twitter. We are hoping to bring lots of members through twitter if not anything we will just inform members about new information. Hope to see you on our subscribers list soon. The Discussion Zone doesn’t have a facebook page YET, in the next few days I would expect to see The Discussion Zone facebook page up. Advertising the site through Social networks will help promote sites, so we are going to try it out.
The Discussion Zones Paid To Post:
The Discussion Zone launched the paid to post on Monday and we already have beens that are up to 50 cents in just a couple of hours of work.(Not even most were one 45min) Paid to post current rate is currently at .01 a post. In the next couple of days if you are premium users you will be getting paid .02 per post(Not positive[85%] but most likely) This would encourage members to upgrade to Premium and not only help them put also help the site in the process.
The Discussion Zone User Premisions:
Lately we have been having lots of spam bots joining the site, but we have thus prevented them from joining and posting. Now to register you have to feel out not 1 but 2 security questions. We have one that is the hidden text and now we have questions that are like What color is the sky? so nothing to hard. If they do by pass that by any hand we have made it to post a site in Money making etc you have to have 10post or more. This will also keep members from making one post advertising their site then leaving.
We have been hard at work in the past week and we are going to make this next week even better. We are expecting in the next few days for lots of post and new users. Stay active because we might be having some contest coming up that you wont want too miss out on. We are going to do so much to the site and we just want you to site back and enjoy the new updates while posting.
Extra Notes:
We are bringing back the onsite rewards that you can buy from the site. We had this before but for all you new members what this is points that you can buy for the site TDZ or your forum. And we can post on your forum for a price(posting on our forum) or you can buy something for the site TDZ that will make your live fun on TDZ(More fun)
