I think it would look a lot better and benefit the site a whole lot if we lost the sparkles and the flashes in upgraded names. To me it looks weird and for the site it loads a lot. So the index for me is a bit laggy and im sure people with slower internet have troubles. I have 20+Mbps internet right now and it's slow for me. It just has to load a lot and is on a constant loop loading the site.
This also goes for thread views. Though it looks cool and what not, it loads it hard.
