They should only have spaces, regular text, no symbols, and maybe periods. It looks retarded imo seeing 8 Gods (just an example) because someone figured out how to make an invisible character. Also it would make the site look way more professional. Also, I'm not positive if you (Philly) reset inactive names for members who pay, but if you do, you would make a lot more. Because no one even needs a name to be reset atm, they can just use an invisible character, or that other weird font that looks dead on the normal font. Also, I find it annoying having to copy and paste someone's name instead of being able to type it in without getting some random inactive member to come up.

He does offer that, I think it's $5 for any name that has been inactive for 3 months. Not really advertised that well, I think it should be renounced and people with special characters get a warning and are forced to
change there name.

Philly does reset usernames for a small fee, and I totally agree with you.

Or he could set it so it is impossible to have anything in your name besides one font, spaces, and regular letters, and like periods. I know plenty of sites that do that.

I didn't know he would reset usernames that are inactive. I may ask him to reset one. hehe

OT: I do see that a lot on HF and is kind of annoying lol.

I think he does do that and personally i want to go to just Tiger without my weird looking R looks way better and everytime i accidently log out i do not have to go in google and type in "backwards r" and copy and paste it

It's because everyone is obsessed with having an original name.. everywhere. I support banning invisible characters.
